Here is some of my most recent projects and commissions.
This was a hand made kitchen, all units were made from Birch plywood, the doors made from tulipwood and birch ply. All made, assembled and spray painted and lacquered on site.
ViewReally love the warmth and color of these boards, sanded enough to get down to the bare timber but not too much to loose the character. The table legs are made from old rafters and the drawer is from old floorboards. All finished with Osmo polyX
ViewThis beautiful table and benches have all been made from reclaimed timber. The table top and benches have been made from scaffolding boards, the legs and frame of the table are 80 year old roof trusses, when sanded and oiled the grain pops out and has a deep red colour. This table is 2.7 meters long and will comfortably seat 10.
The decking is also made from scaffold boards.
ViewThis was a bespoke summerhouse, made on site including the doors and windows, it has a cedar shingle pitched roof, veranda, fully insulated, power, lighting, a perfect place to chill out and enjoy the garden.
ViewThis I have to say is the kitchen I am most proud of, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
ViewThe clients had converted their garage to a bedroom with a mezzanine floor for the bed but no way of getting up, so storage steps seemed to be the best solution. every possible space has been used for storage, even the corner unit and step.
ViewThis was for a community hall, they wanted easy access to the loft space but space was an issue hence why it looks so steep, with built in lockable storage underneath.
ViewThis is the kitchen of a mobile home I have been renovating. the false timber beams give it a slightly older farmhouse look.
ViewThis is a beautiful natural edge elm coffee table, levelled, sanded and varnished to a perfect finish to really make the grain pop out. the elm slabs were sourced from a local tree surgeon and air dried for over a year.
ViewThis room was in need of practical storage space, so we made a window seat with storage that flowed into the TV unit, and on the other side an alcove cupboard with some floating shelves.
ViewThis was a nice project, a shed, playhouse, swing and climbing wall all in one. fully decked, the shed was constructed with oak posts and beams and clad with barrel lap.
ViewThis is part of a garage conversion I have done, we needed the boiler and fuse board boxed in and use the remaining space for storage.
ViewProof positive that you can fit a en suite in a cupboard within 1 square meter.
ViewWe turned a dull and small bedroom into a bright and fresh en-suite, we filled in the doorway from the corridor and made a new opening into the main bedroom, there was enough space for the bathroom and a moderate sized wardrobe. Also we had some extra little jobs like retiling the kitchen and making 2 picture frames from an old scaffold board.
ViewA custom made alcove cupboard for games and dvd’s. The carcass has been constructed from MDF and painted. The top has been made from reclaimed scaffolding boards and given a whitewash finish. The cupboard has internal lighting and has a cut out in the back for sockets with access in the top for lamps or other powered devices.
ViewThis was a new kitchen in an extension, the extension was done by a local contractor and I was brought in to complete the kitchen and flooring.
ViewWithin 3 weeks we took the old leaky damp bathroom out and transformed it into a light and fresh bathroom.
ViewThis kitchen has a unique feature of a worktop made from reclaimed scaffold boards, laminated, planed and sanded.
ViewThis double bed was designed to have the appearance of floating off the floor, it was made on the counterbalance principle.
ViewThis is a seriously tough bike store. it has an added feature of being automated and able to be opened by remote control.
ViewEven I was surprised we could fit al this in the small space we had to work with but it all came together nicely.
